Devon Afrobeat Collective will be live in South Brent supporting an event organised by South Brent Refugee Support Network raising funds for Action for Education, a refugee charity providing education programmes, basic services and safe spaces for displaced women, children and youth in Chios, Greece.
Come and dance to the 13-piece band with three fabulous singers, four horns and a cracking rhythm section.
Where? South Brent Village Hall (directions here)
When? Saturday 29 February 2020, 8pm – 11pm. (Doors open at 7.30pm.)
Plus bar & raffle.
Support: Mbira music from Zimbabwe. Local mbira players, Kennedy Chinyeri, Alan Kerr and David Holmes play traditional hypnotic trance music.
